1. Copenhagen, Denmark Copenhagen is laid out brilliantly for cyclists. For visitors, there are cheap bicycle rental ports across the city for a casual ride but there are also schemes for serious cyclists. GoBike, for example, strategically places docking stations at metro stations for commuters and visitors alike. These bikes can be reserved via smartphone for forward-planners and also include a touch screen electrical pad for log-in and GPS navigation.
On your visit, continue with the green theme and take a break from cycling with a walk through the 25 hectare botanical gardens or open air museum.

Tis’ The Season: Christmas Fairs in Budapest

Want to get into the holiday spirit? With most Christmas markets opening this week Budapest will be once again full of magical places to visit. Christmas lights and holiday decorations are popping up everywhere in the city. Here is a selection of Christmas markets and fairs to visit during the holiday season.

Visitors can browse over 100 stands offering Christmas decorations, foodie gifts and some authentic arts and crafts, certified by the 'House of Tradition'.
